Bearing caps of exhaust camshaft are marked A1 to A5 from inlet
side.

Lubricate exhaust camshaft and bearing caps with engine oil.

Fit bearing caps of exhaust camshaft.

Note:

Retaining clips for oil line are fitted on bearing caps A1 to A4.

Important!

Risk of camshaft breakage.

Insert nuts (6 to 10) and initially tighten by hand without play.

Tighten down nuts (6 to 10) of bearing caps in 1/2 turn
increments from inside outwards.

Tightening torque: 11 31 1AZ

Insert screw (1) of chain guide (2) and tighten down.

Both cams of inlet and exhaust camshafts remain together on
1 cylinder.
