3 Series E90 335xi (N54) SAL
Release bolt.
Tightening torque 17 21 1AZ
.
Detach oil line (1) from oil filter control housing.
Catch and dispose of emerging fluid.
Release bolt.
Tightening torque 17 21 2AZ
.
Disconnect oil line (1) from engine oil cooler flange and remove.
Catch and dispose of emerging fluid.
Important!
When tightening down the bolt, use suitable
means/equipment to prevent the flange from twisting.
Twisting of the flange can lead to contact with the front panel!
This in turn results in vibration noises and corrosion damage.
Installation:
Replace all sealing rings on oil line.
Note:
After completing work, check engine oil level and top up if
necessary.
