Replacing alternator drive belt (S65)
Important!
Mark the direction of rotation of the drive belt if it is to be
reused.
Replace the drive belt if it is fouled with coolant or engine oil.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove drive belt for A/C system.
Release cover (1) with a screwdriver.
Press down tensioning device (1) with standard tool in direction
of arrow.
Remove drive belt.
Installation:
Observe direction of rotation if reusing the drive belt.
Make sure drive belt is installed in correct position.
