New spot-welding system CR500

All

Situation: 

For reasons of actuality, your attention is drawn again to Service Information bulletin " New
workshop equipment for body area", previously published. Current and future steel bodies
will employ a higher proportion of strengthened and high-strength steel plates.

A spot-welding system is essential when working on the body. The necessary stability is
only ensured with a spot-welded connection made with a spot-welding system. The
necessary stability cannot be achieved with a conventional welding system! Please bear in
mind possible product liability risks.

This means that a spot-welding system that has been tested and approved by BMW must
be used for this work. 
Only the following units satisfy the demands set. 

- 

CR500 (NEW)

- 

InvertaSpot ATL w BMW

- 

Spot 9000 Inverter MF BMW

In addition to the previously approved systems InvertaSpot ATL w BMW and Spot 9000
Inverter MF BMW, a further spot-welding system, CR500, has also been approved.
