Selection: 5110 (interior) > 510007 (noises at luggage compartment trim)

Procedure:

The proposed solutions described in the Procedure section are based on current
investigations.

A) Rear window frame

Manufacturing period: start of series
production until today

Remove trim for rear window frame on
front left and right (inner), see 
51 49 017 .

Spray special lubricant (part number
83 19 9 408 523) onto the
transitions (1) in the upper and lower
trim for the rear window frame.

Fit trim.

B) C-pillar

Remove cover (1) for shoulder in
luggage compartment, left and right,
see 51 47 157 .

Remove trim (2) for roof pillar (C-pillar),
rear left and right, see 51 43 251 .

Manufacturing period: start of series
production until week 42/2007

Remove the felt strips (3) from the tabs
(1) and (2) on the cover, left and right.

Clean and degrease the adhesive
surfaces.
