About the E92 3 Series
The E92 is the coupe of the fifth-generation 3 Series, introduced in December 2004 and made until 2013 (the coupe and convertible lasting longest). This generation brought iDrive and run-flat tyres to the 3 Series. The E92 335i was the first 3 Series with a turbocharged petrol engine (N54), and the M3 used the S65 V8.
What these manuals cover
- Four-cylinder petrol: the 316i and 320i (N43, N46T).
- Six-cylinder petrol: the 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i (N51, N52K, N53), including the all-wheel-drive xi, and the twin-turbo 335i (N54).
- Diesel: the 320d (N47) and the six-cylinder 325d, 330d, 330xd and 335d (M57T2).
- The M3 (S65 V8).
Tip: these are BMW factory manuals, listed by model, engine and body rather than by year. The code in brackets is the engine (M54, N52 and so on), and the last word is the body: SAL saloon, TOUR Touring (estate), COUPE, CONVER convertible, COMP Compact (hatchback), ROADST roadster, OFFRD for the X models. The E90, E91 and E93 manuals cover the same engines.
