3 Series E92 316i (N43) COUPE
Disconnect plug connection for oxygen control sensor from
cylinders 2 and 3.
Release oxygen control sensor (1) with special tool
11 9 150
in conjunction with 11 7 030.
Tightening torque 11 78 1AZ
.
Important!
•
When using special tool 11 9 150 in conjunction with
special tool 11 7 030 , 47 Nm on torque wrench scale
corresponds to an actual tightening torque of 50 Nm.
Installation:
•
The thread of the new oxygen control sensor is already
coated with Never Seez Compound.
•
If an oxygen sensor is used again, apply a thin and even coat
of Never Seez Compound (refer to BMW Parts Service)
to the thread only.
•
Part of oxygen control sensor which projects into exhaust
system branch must not be cleaned or come into contact with
lubricant.
•
Cover oxygen control sensor when applying underseal.
Check function of DME.
