Removing and installing or replacing exhaust
turbocharger (N47)
Special tools required:

Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove acoustic cover.
•
Remove fan cowl.
•
Remove air cleaner.
•
Remove EGR heat exchanger.
•
Remove exhaust system.
•
Remove particulate filter.
•
Remove right pressure pipe.
Release clip (1) in direction of arrow.
Detach intake hose (2) in direction of arrow.
Disconnect plug connection at exhaust turbocharger.
