Replacing camshaft pulse generator (N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory of DDE control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove acoustic cover at front
•
Raise rear acoustic cover
Detach plug from pressure regulator (1).
Detach plug (2), injector, cyl. 4.
Unlock plug (3) from pulse generator and detach.
Release screw (1).
Remove pulse generator.
Tightening torque 13 62 1AZ
.
Installation:
Apply a thin coat of anti-friction agent to sealing ring (1) for
installation.
