3 Series E92 320d (N47) COUPE
Illustration shows exhaust system removed:
Cutting line between centre silencer (2) and rear silencer (1).
Determine pipe length on new centre silencer (2).
Carry over measurement to faulty centre silencer (2) and mark
cutting lines.
Cut exhaust pipe with special tool 00 2 210 at marked points.
Deburr exhaust pipe.
Unfasten nut.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 18 30 4AZ.
Unfasten nut.
Remove centre silencer.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 18 20 5AZ.
