3 Series E92 328xi (N52K) COUPE
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove underbody protection and bracket at front and rear
•
Remove reinforcement plate
Important notes on installation are described in this work step
•
Remove complete exhaust system
•
Remove centre muffler (N53 only)
•
Support engine with lifter when removing transmission
Remove heat shields (1) and (2).
Disconnect plug (1) from oil level sensor.
Disconnect connector (1).
Release screws (2).
Remove cover plate (3).
Unscrew holder (4).
Tightening torque 23 00 1AZ
