Checking delivery pressure of fuel pump
(M50,S50US)
Install BMW Service Tester or special tool 13 3 060 with adapter
lead and special tool 13 3 064 to fuel delivery line before the
pressure regulator.

Intake line

Return line
Pull off fuel pump relay (3).
1.
Relay for oxygen-sensor heating
2.
Master relay for Digital Motor Electronics (DME)
3.
Relay for electric fuel pump (EKP)
Connect special tool 61 3 050 to terminal 87b and terminal 30.
Pressing button and reading off delivery pressure on pressure
gauge,
refer to Technical Data.
