Diesel flushing agent discontinued

Taking immediate effect, diesel flushing agent BMW Part No. 81 22 9 407 528 is no longer available.
Reason:
The diesel flushing agent was introduced as a temporary solution for engine judder problems for diesel engines fitted
with a distributor injection pump. Since in the meantime these problems have been eliminated, there is no longer
any need to use additives.
Furthermore, this flushing agent has a negative influence with respect to wear on the high-pressure pump, injectors
etc. of common rail diesel engines.
For this reason, we strongly advise against the use of any additives, including those from other manufacturers.
We recommend you present our case to your customers by employing the following line of argument:
Due to the extremely precise manufacturing tolerances of the components used in common rail systems and the
adverse effect on the lubricating function of the fuel, we advise against the use of additives.
Note:
In the case of damage that can be proven to have been caused by the use of additives, it will not be possible
to reimburse any repair costs through warranty channels!
