Removing and installing / replacing exhaust
manifold (M51)
Removing intake filter housing,
refer to 13 71 000
Unscrew cover for intake manifold.
Remove pipe for exhaust recuperation.
Installation:
On version with gasket:
Replace seal.
Unfasten exhaust turbocharger from exhaust manifold.
Installation:
Replace seal.
Coat screw threads with copper paste -CRC-.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 1AZ
