Fine-grinding both sides of both rear brake
disks (brake disks removed)
Important!
Always fine-grind both sides of both brake disks on one axle.
Note MAX. machining dimension per friction ring side
,
minimum brake disk thickness (MIN TH) and
Observe surface roughness of brake surfaces .
Only one brake lining set may be used up on brake disks
which have been lathe-turned to minimum thickness (MIN
TH).
Brake disks of M models (Compound brake disks) must not
be machined!
Grinding machine: refer to BMW Service

Follow the machine manufacturer's operating instructions.
