Adjusting brake band A4S 270R/310R transmission (THM R1)

E34, E36, E39

Situation: 

The socket wrench 24 2 320 and the open-end wrench 24 2 330 have been introduced
to adjust the brake band.

Please refer to enclosure 1

If a customer complains of "harsh 3rd-2nd downshift under load" it is necessary to adjust
the brake band.

Please refer to Service Information bulletin 24 03 97 (240)

Procedure:

Tools 24 2 320 and 24 2 330 will only be delivered as store tools to order.
