Adapter for bleeding the clutch hydraulics
Sequential M-transmission (SMG)
Situation:
The sequential M-transmission (SMG) has been introduced in the E36/M3 as of 01/97.
To bleed the clutch hydraulics on the sequential M-transmission, transmission S6S 420G,
the adapter 21 5 010 has been developed.
Refer to Enclosure 1.
This adapter is used in conjunction with the tester 17 0 002 for pressurizing the
expansion tank of the clutch hydraulics during bleeding.
Procedure:
The adapter 21 5 010 will only be supplied as a store tool when ordered.
Refer to Repair Instructions for 3 Series E36/M3, job item 21 00 006.
