Clamping tool for torque converter

Situation: 

To clamp the torque converter in place in the automatic transmission, a new clamping tool
was developed with the Order No. 24 4 130. This tool prevents the converter from falling
out of the transmission during removal and installation.

This tool (basic unit) can also be used for future transmissions.

This clamping tool replaces tool 24 4 120 for clamping the torque converter in place on
the automatic transmission A5S 560Z (5HP30).

Affected
vehicles:

Vehicles with the automatic transmissions: A5S 310Z (5HP18), A5S 440Z (5HP24),
A5S 560Z (5HP30), A5S 300J (Jatco), A4S 310R (THM R1)

Procedure:

The clamping tool will only be supplied as a store tool on request.
