5 Series E39 520d (M47) SAL
Installation:
Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to sealing surfaces of
sealing rings (1).
Insert sealing rings (1) in intake snorkel.
Remove rubber gaiter (1).
Release clamp (1).
Tightening torque, 11 65 10AZ.
Disconnect charge air pipe (2).
Caution!
Seal turbocharger openings immediately.
Fit charge air hoses without grease and dry.
Detach vacuum hose (1) from pressure converter.
Detach vacuum hose from vacuum reservoir.
