Removing and installing or replacing oil
cooler/cooling coil for power steering (M47)

Caution!

After installation, bleed power steering.

Make sure all parts are absolutely clean.

No dirt is allowed to enter the system.

Recycling:

Draw hydraulic fluid out of container and do not reuse.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.

Release hose clamps (1) and remove turbocharger hose.

Remove fan impeller and fan cowl.

Detach lines (1) on oil cooler.

Remove rubber gasket (2).

Carefully press oil cooler (3) out of mountings.
