Replacing fan cowl (M52, M62)
Remove fan impeller and fan clutch from water pump,
refer to 11 52 020.
M52
Lever out expansion rivets on left and right from fan cowl.
Press center of fan cowl gently backwards and disconnect guide
tab.
Extract fan cowl and fan together at the same time.
Installation:
When installing fan cowl, attach left and right tabs to radiator
brackets.
Connect guide tab in upper center.
