5 Series E39 520i (M52TU) SAL
Unfasten screws and remove crossmember.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 71 1AZ / 2AZ.
Insert special tool 11 7 370 between engine oil sump and front
axle support.
Lower transmission.
Support front of engine with a 2nd workshop hoist.
Protect torque converter from slipping out. To do this, insert
special tool 24 4 131/ 24 4 134 in opening of transmission
housing and clamp torque converter in place.
