Also check whether the B-pillar trim of version from 09 / 2000 is
fitted.
1 = B-pillar trim up to 09 / 2000
2 = B-pillar trim from 09 / 2000, trim is lined all round up to rear
side.
On the B-pillar trim from 09 / 2000, the trim is lined all round up to
the rear side.
This prevents the ITS head airbag with gas generator from 09 /
2000 being damaged on activation by the B-pillar trim.
It is absolutely essential to fit an B-pillar trim of version from 09 /
2000 if an ITS head airbag gas generator of version from 09 /
2000 is fitted.
Note:
The conversion work ends here.
Release retaining screw, A-pillar.

Screw is held in end fitting by locking washer.
