Removing and installing luggage
compartment lid, rear window frame and
hinges completely

Note:

Lids (hood and trunk) are adjusted to fit the unfinished body
shell and are screwed into place.

Unpainted surfaces become visible after subsequent
movement.

These surfaces must be touched up with paint in the body
color.

Remove antenna amplifier,

refer to 65 24 010

Remove and install left and right gas pressure springs for luggage
compartment lid,

refer to 51 24 300

Remove and install left and right gas pressure springs for rear
window frame,

refer to 51 24 321

Left:

Remove rubber grommet and cut through plug connection (1 ... 3).

1 rear window heating

2 rear window heating

3 button for rear window

4 line to antenna amplifier (already unfastened).

Feed out cable (4) of antenna amplifier.

Right side:

Disconnect hose for rear window washer unit and feed out cable
of antenna amplifier.
