Removing and installing/replacing complete
exhaust system (M57)
Remove underbody panelling.
Raise exhaust system with hydraulic lifter and special tool
31 2 220.
E39 car only:
Unscrew bolts (1).
Remove retaining brackets.
Release crew connection (2 and 3).
