5 Series E39 525i (M54) TOUR
Slacken nut (1).
Push shock absorber to side and pull out bolt.
Installation:
Replace nut.
Watch insertion direction of bolt:
touring = bolt head at rear in driving direction.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 32 14AZ.
Open plastic holder (1).
Unfasten nut - brace on hexagon if necessary and remove control
arm.
Installation:
Tapered pin and bore free of grease.
Replace nut.
For tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 33 32 8AZ.
