Note:
Sharpen knife blade before every use on a running
machine with a grinding stone (even with new knife blade).
A scalpel (1) is used for area (C) on the C pillar (for severe
contamination).
Cutting depths for area (C):
Area (C) top
approx. 45 mm
Area (C) bottom
approx. 70 mm
Caution!
When reusing the side window:
Do not damage lines for side window antenna.
Cut away areas (A) and (B) from inside.
Carefully insert knife blade between body and side window gasket.
Guide blade parallel to side window gasket. Cut through cement
bead as close to body as possible.
