Removing and installing/replacing washer
pump of headlight cleaning system
Remove wheel arch cover at front right top.
Drain fluid tank for windshield washer system.
Note:
When removing, carefully pull out washer pump for headlight
cleaning system so that strainer is not pulled off and thus does not
fall into fluid tank for windshield washer system. If this does
happen, the fluid tank for the windshield washer system must be
removed so that the strainer can be taken out.
Disconnect plug connection (1) in direction of arrow.
Unlock hose (3) and detach in direction of arrow from washer
pump of headlight cleaning system (4).
Turn washer pump of headlight cleaning system (4) in direction of
arrow and pull upwards out of fluid tank for windshield washer
system (2).
Installation:
Make sure hose (3) is laid without kinks.
Replace seal and strainer for washer pump of headlight cleaning
system (4).
Coat seal with antiseize agent.
