Wiring harness - replacing engine section
(M52)
Instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery,
refer to General Information MG12.
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect negative battery lead.
Remove complete splash guard.
Remove fan impeller,
refer to 52 11 020.
Remove intake filter housing,
refer to 13 71 000.
Remove front center splash guard from engine together with
complete underbody protection.
Remove cover from injector valves.
Remove cover on control unit box.
Note:
This task is described in the work step "Replacing control
unit",
refer to 12 14 550.
