5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Suspend filler neck (2) in filler opening.
Pour in automatic transmission fluid until overflowing.
Start engine and run at idling speed with selector lever in position
"P" or "N".
Top up automatic transmission fluid until overflowing.
Increase fluid temperature to 30 ... 55
°
C.
Check transmission fluid temperature with MoDiC or DIS.
Check fluid level again and top up if necessary.
Insert new filler plug (1) with new sealing ring and tighten.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 11 7AZ.
