Removing and installing/replacing ABS rear
pulse generator from 09/98
Caution!
Note "General Data",
refer to 34 00 ...
Remove wheel,
refer to 36 10 300
Partially unfasten rear wheel arch trim, pull plug connector (1) out
of bracket and disconnect.
Installation:
Ensure proper locking of plug connection.
Pull cable (1) out of mounting.
Release hexagon socket head cap screw (1), pull ABS pulse
generator (2) out of bore.
Installation:
Clean hole for impulse sensor and grease with lubricating
grease Staburags NBU 12/K (refer to BMW Service Operating
Fluids).
