Removing and installing or replacing brake
pedal
Remove lower left trim panel from instrument panel.
Remove brake light switch,
refer to 61 31 310
Remove retainers (1).
Withdraw pin (2).
Remove brake pedal.
Installation:
Check bearing bushes (1) and replace if necessary.
Apply light coat of grease to bearing bushes (1) and bore (2), refer
to BMW Service Operating Fluids.
Attach spring in grommet and pin,
also refer to layout.
