Location of reinforcement plate on vehicle:
1 = reinforcement plate for windshield reinforcement
2 = reinforcement plate for windshield (window)
Location of reinforcement plate in spare part:
1 = reinforcement plate for windshield (window)
2 = holes for plug welding the reinforcement plate for windshield
reinforcement
Install and weld reinforcements.
Produce and install reinforcement plate for cover of side member.
Overlap on each locating face 30 mm.
Drill holes for plug welding reinforcement plate in spare part.
Coat both sides of locating face with zinc dust paint.
Fit and secure spare door column.
Caution!
On vehicles with slide/tilt sunroof, avoid damage to gutter on
slide/tilt sunroof.
