5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Manufacture reinforcement plate for side member cover from
remaining metal and adapt.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 60 mm
Drill the holes for the plug welding of the reinforcement plate in the
body.
Drill the holes for the plug welding of the reinforcement plate in the
replacement part.
Clean connection faces of vehicle and spare part and coat with
zinc dust paint.
Install reinforcement plate in cover for side member approx. 30
mm.
Secure reinforcement plate and weld up.
Prepare and fit the C-pillar reinforcement plate.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 60 mm
Clean the vehicle and replacement part joint surfaces.
Drill the holes for the plug welding of the reinforcement plate in the
body.
