5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Disconnect Bowden cable nipple (1) and Bowden cable guide (2)
from door lock (3).
Pull door lock slightly downwards.
Unhook cable (1) from door lock (2) with plier tips.
Unlock/remove connector (1) and remove door lock.
Only replace:
Lift out lock (1) and pull drive unit (2) (door lock mechanism) from
door lock.
Disconnect actuating rod (3).
RA Removing and installing / replacing door lock on left or right rear door
