5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Unlock left and right levers (press downwards). Pull backrest
upwards to remove from seat frame and lift out of vehicle.
Note:
The operation "Removing complete backrest" ends here.
Remove backrest cover with support:
Unfasten outside and center clips from support.
Installation:
Lock new retainer by bending it with special tool 52 0 050.
Note:
Each side of the cover tabs (1) must be secured with a clip
above the spring. If necessary, bend new clips to fit using
special tool 52 0 050.
