5 Series E39 528i (M52) SAL
Caution!
Check lid for tight fit.
With palms of hands, push front left and right of slide/tilt sunroof
lid upwards.
It should not be possible to raise the slide/tilt sunroof cover.
Adjusting lever in cover flange must be correctly located.
Installation:
Press slide/tilt sunroof lid forwards.
Turn nuts (2) as far as stop.
Do not tighten!
Lower sun-roof lid at rear end by dimension (A).
(A) = 2 ... 4 mm
Slowly slide floating roof liner right back (with clean hands, or
wearing protective gloves).
