Removing and installing/replacing left
headlight vertical aim adjuster (xenon
headlamp, up to 09/2000)
Remove lens/reflector.
Warning!
Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights).
Turn plug connection (1) in direction of arrow and disconnect.
Remove low beam cover (2).
Turn side-marker lamp bulb holder (3) in direction of arrow and
remove.
Turn plug housing (4) in direction of arrow and remove.
Remove high beam cover cap (5).
Installation:
Make sure low beam cover (2) and high beam cover cap (5) are
correctly seated.
Fully release adjusting screws (6).
From 01/1997:
In addition, turn lower holder through approx. 90
°
and lever out at
headlight vertical aim adjuster underneath.
All:
Pull insert (1) in direction of arrow out of headlamp housing (2).
