Test gauge for tension struts
E39 / M52
Situation:
Test gauge 31 1 400 has been introduced for examining tension struts.
Please refer to enclosure 1
The tension struts are designed in such a way that a purely visual examination is not
possible. An examination of the tension struts must therefore be performed using this
gauge in the event of an accident or if repair work on the front axle is necessary.
Procedure:
Testing gauge 31 1 400 will be delivered to each dealer at a special offer price.
Additional orders will be invoiced at this special offer price up to the end of September
1997.
