5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
E38 cars only:
Unscrew bolt (1).
Remove acoustic cover.
All cars:
Release hose clamp (1) on charge air hose.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
Disconnect charge air hose.
Caution!
Fit charge air hoses without grease and dry.
Unscrew bolt (2).
Loosen screws (1).
Detach molded hose in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to sealing surfaces of
sealing rings (1).
Insert sealing rings (1) in intake snorkel.
