5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Disconnect plug (1) from vacuum control valve (in turbocharger
area).
Unclip lead from retaining clip (2).
Disconnect both plugs (1).
Cut through any existing cable straps (2).
Remove connector from:
- Preheater elements
- Pressure sensor
- Oil pressure switch
- Alternator
- Pressure sensor
- Vacuum control valve
Detach both control leads from starter solenoid switch.
Loosen screws (1).
Pull out distributor housing from wiring harness section
backwards.
