Note:

The sealing flange seals the timing case cover via the
solenoid valve.

If necessary, clean solenoid valve with a cloth.

Remove sealing flange (1).

If necessary, remove camshaft sensor or disconnect plug
connection to cable duct.

Release screws and remove timing case cover at top.

Remove rubber sealing strip.

Installation:

Clean groove for rubber profile seal and sealing surfaces of
remains of seal.

Installation:

Replace sealing ring in cylinder head for oil supply of chain
tensioner.
