5 Series E39 540i (M62) SAL
Rotate wheel and clamp at outer rim flange (styling side) on tire
fitting machine.
Aligning inner bead of support ring plane-parallel to inner rim
flange: Turn machine plate with press-off roller (1) several times.
Remove wheel from tire fitting machine.
Inflate complete tire as usual.
Balance tire.
Note:
If after leveling you are in doubt as to the correct position of
the support ring, you can turn the wheel again and repeat the
leveling process.
