5 Series E39 540i (M62) SAL
Speaker replacement only:
If necessary, release knurled head screw (1) and open flap (2) of
protective mat.
Release nuts (1) and remove speaker unit.
Note:
Disconnect plug connection (2) to detach speaker and carrier
plate.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Unfasten plastic welded joints (1) and remove loudspeaker
finisher (2).
Installation:
Install new loudspeaker finisher (2). Fit retaining washers (3)
on the pins (4).
Hi-fi speaker replacement only:
If necessary, release screws (1) and remove speaker (2).
