Removing and installing/sealing throttle body
(M60, M62)
Ignition switched off.
Version 1:
(Acoustic cover screwed down)
Remove seal caps (1) and unfasten nuts (2).
Remove acoustic cover.
Version 2:
(Acoustic cover with press-stud fastener)
Press press-stud fasteners (1...4) in succession and at same time
raise acoustic cover slightly. Remove acoustic cover once all four
press-stud fasteners have been unlocked.
Cars with idle-speed control valves only:
Disconnect plug connection on idle control valve and on throttle
valve potentiometer.
