If necessary, check raised and drop centers of support ring with a
suitable steel tape measure (1).

Specification for raised center (2) = 124.1 cm

Specification for drop center (3) = 114.8 cm

Caution!

Replace support ring without fail if the ascertained raised or
drop center measurement deviates from the specification.

Press inner bead (remaining tire) into drop center of rim.

Clamp rim with outer side facing upwards on tire fitting machine.

Force off remaining tire over outer rim flange.

Visually check radial runout of rim. 

If necessary, check radial runout with dial gauge. 

Tolerances, refer to Technical Data.

Installation

Installation of the support ring is described separately from
removal. Assembly sequence for removal and installation is
different.

If necessary, install wheel electronics.
