This figure displays the side view of the eccentric pin in the lower
section of the trunk lid lock
1 = upper dead center
Trunk lid lock - upper section unlocked
2 = lower dead center
Trunk lid lock - upper section locked
Unfasten plug connection to actuator motor for the eccentric pin in
the lower section of the trunk lid lock from the bracket.
Caution!
Eccentric pin in lower section of trunk lid lock must be at lower
dead center.
Caution!
After disconnecting plug connector from actuator motor, trunk
lid is opened by electric unlocking fixture of upper section of
trunk lid lock.
For this reason, the cable connections to the upper section of
the trunk lid lock must remain in place since otherwise the
trunk lid can only be opened by the emergency handle.
Eccentric pin of lower section of trunk lid lock remains at
bottom dead center point after unlocking.
Unfasten plug connection to actuator motor by pressing down both
lugs, then pull apart.
