Fuel pressure measurement
E36 / S52E39 / M62
Situation:
To measure the fuel inlet pressure, the adapter hose illustrated in Enclosure 1 was
developed. In contrast to the previous measuring method - cutting fuel hose in the middle
and inserting the T-piece from the DIS Tester - the adapter hose is now installed in the fuel
inlet line (quick release connections), then connected to the DIS pressure sensor.
The connections illustrated in Enclosure 2 were developed to seal off the fuel lines during
removal and installation of the engine.
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied automatically in accordance with the current tools agreement.
