Removing and installing/replacing lower oil
sump section (S62)
Remove splash guard from unit.
Drain engine oil.
Note:
This task is described in the work step BMW engine oil
service incl. supplementary service.
Carry out supplementary service at recommended intervals
only,
refer to 00 00 250.
Remove cover (1) on left and right.
Remove air channel (2) on left and right.
Note:
Note installation direction of underbody protection bar (1).
Unfasten screws.
Remove underbody protection bar (1).
