5 Series E39 M5 (S62) SAL
Release hose clamps (1) and detach molded hose.
Detach molded hose (2) from T-piece (3) at bottom.
Note:
To facilitate removal and installation of oil-water heat
exchanger:
Turn T-piece (3) upwards a little.
Note:
A control valve is screwed to the front of the oil-water heat
exchanger. The screws are difficult to access and fall out very
easily.
Release all screws and have screws of control valve connected.
Raise oil-water heat exchanger a little.
Remove control valve (1).
Installation:
Insert control valve with screws in openings on oil-water heat
exchanger.
Tilt up oil-water heat exchanger (1) at rear and remove towards
top.
